10 Action Steps to Better Health

My 45 day food experiment was a series of ten steps to improved health that can be repeated by anyone willing to try a new approach.  The key is to keep it simple and keep moving forward, one step at a time.  Try these action steps and watch your pounds come off effortlessly:
  1. Clean out your refrigerator and your food pantry of anything unhealthy.
  2. Commit yourself to only buying foods without a label on the outside.
  3. Eat unlimited fruits and veggies, with an emphasis on the greens.
  4. Limit your intake of dairy products and grains.  
  5. Avoid alcohol (one glass of wine for ladies and two for men per day is okay).
  6. Schedule 90 minutes of exercise per week like taking walks.
  7. Make your own salad dressings without all the preservatives.
  8. Write down everything you eat daily.
  9. Keep track of your weight every morning when you wake up.
  10. Repeat these steps for 45 days.
