Your Snack Emergency Kit

I bet you carry some kind of emergency kit in your vehicle to help you survive a difficult situation, like a tire blowout.  But what about the kind of emergency you have when you're away from home and your food cravings kick in?  Why not pack a snack emergency kit?  Here are some ideas to help you get started:
  1. Bottled water.
  2. Homemade trail mix – Place almonds, walnuts,  pecans, and raisins in a baggie and seal it up.
  3. Dried fruit.
Your food emergency kit is meant to get you through a crisis.  If healthy food is at your fingertips, you can survive without caving in to bad food choices.  You can do this.  Keep your emergency kit in your car and remember to replenish it after each use.  Have a great day.
