Stay the Course

"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race." --Calvin Coolidge

Are you satisfied with the direction you headed? Take a moment and evaluate the course you are on. If you are off course, the best time to make a correction is today. The longer you wait to make the adjustment, the further away your target gets and despair may creep into your life.

It is very normal to "drift". Calvin Coolidge is right when he tells us that persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. If we are drifting and we recognize that it is time for a change, we must commit daily to getting back on track. Drifting is a habit. So is "pressing on". It is your choice today to drift or raise the sails and reach your destination.

Lets raise our sails together and seize this day and this year. If you didn't raise the sails yesterday, forget about it and start over. Today is a brand new day and with persistence you can turn your goals into reality. Go for it!
