This is a big day. Nonbelievers question why we call this Good Friday because this is the day Jesus was crucified. Good? Really? Could this be some kind of early Christian April Fool's prank, assuming the original Good Friday happened on April 1? Well, April Fools day is now behind us. Yes, it really is GOOD Friday. Without a crucifixion there can't be a resurrection. Without a resurrection there is nothing to believe in after our own death. Yep. Jesus beat death. That's good. Really, really good. Take a moment today and think about why Jesus did all this. He did it for you, for me, and for all of humanity, including our children, our children's children, and every generation to come after us.
