The Grim Reaper visited my mother in the intensive care unit of the hospital earlier this year. Doctors told us the odds of survival were slim as her body wasn't responding. When she woke up she told family members, "Hell no, it's not my time yet. I'm going to Hawaii with my family." She recovered. She went to Hawaii. We had a blast. Now she's about to do something most people in her age group avoid because they think it's too late to reclaim their youth. Mom is joining the gym. She's also sharing her progress for readers. It's going to be an exciting year.
