Love Never Ends

We've been climbing a mountain together for 1,223 consecutive days.  These last three years, we set up new base camps at the beginning of each year: faith, hope, and love.  In 1 Corinthians 13:13, Paul tells us, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."  In the same chapter, he writes, "It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." ~ 1 Corinthians 13:7.

Faith, hope and love supply us with all we need to reach greater heights in the New Year ahead.  Today's blog story is a bridge between base camp and next year's theme, perseverance.  It's a reminder that faith and hope are always with us and that love never ends.  If the air becomes too thin on our journey together, it may be necessary to revisit our three base camps for more rations before resuming our climb.

Check your equipment.  Make sure you have everything you need to continue your journey.  Review the times in your life when you felt God's presence.  Remember, His love for you never ends.  He loves you perfectly, just as you are.  Ponder all the times you experienced love.  This instrumental from "Love Story" may help you meditate...
