Jesus tells us that the greatest gift we can offer is to lay down our life for another. When Brian Wood encountered a driver who had crossed the double-yellow line, he made a split-second decision to swerve his vehicle, placing himself directly in path of the oncoming SUV. This decision protected his wife and unborn son while costing him his own life.
Brian's wife, Erin Wood, told the Province, "All the policeman say that if we had hit the car head-on all of us would be dead."
