Life After Valentine's Day

Today is a continuation of a three day Valentine's weekend for many people. For others, it may be a return to work. Like the fork in the road that I mentioned in a previous post, we now have choices about returning to our old routines or building on the passion from Valentine's Day.

Take a look in the mirror today. Think about the quality time you spent with your Valentine. Wouldn't it be out of this world to keep that passion going for the rest of this month, this year and this decade? What is holding you back?

If you did not have someone special to share your day with yesterday, ask yourself what kind of person you want to attract into your life. Step out of your comfort zone and take a risk. Don't be afraid to open your heart.

If you are married and only feel the passion once a year on Valentine's Day, make a promise today that every day can be Valentine's Day. Yesterday, I read a love story about a couple, ages 94 and 92 that celebrate their love for each other daily. The husband whistles when he sees his lady. That is what true love is all about.

Live your life with passion. Today you are at another fork in the road. One choice is filled with old habits and routines. The other path leads to colorful flowers that bloom. They wait for you to stop and smell their sweet fragrance. Birds are singing and the sunlight warms your skin. This path leads to hope for a life filled with love and passion. The choice is yours.
