If you're singing Kumbaya with your enemies, congratulations. This is no easy feat. I do my best to follow what Jesus teaches about this but I often fall short. Hating others is not good for your soul. Be very careful if you're having trouble loving your enemies. Your hatred will attract others who feel the same way. Hatred is more contagious and more deadly than any virus. Why? Because hatred can condemn you to an eternity of Hell if you can't address it.
What would happen to this world if all of us could find a way to love our enemies? I have a feeling we would be much happier. This isn't going to happen overnight. Start small and see what happens. Encourage your family to pray for those who hate you. Let go of all your gripes with others. Pledge to leave all your hard feelings behind when the new year begins. Have a great day.
