Where's Your Secret Chord?

Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
 ~ Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah

I keep telling myself, "Don't look down.  Focus on the summit.  Keep climbing.  You're almost there.  You can do this."  I'm composing my own hallelujah sans the music.  The lyrics are filled with broken chords discovered on the back trails where few hikers dare venture.  The one thing that drives me to complete my novel is knowing that somewhere out there is a lost hiker who may get a major lift when I play my secret chord.  I know how tough it is to get out of bed after a minor fall.  I understand the baffled feeling that chills my bones when I realize my compass is broken and the map blew away in the wind.

Anna Clendening is one of those people who decided to play for millions of people even though it was a struggle to come out of her bedroom.  Her parents worried about her.  She got the courage to share her secret chord.  Watch her video...

Where's your secret chord?  Decide today you will share your passion with others.  Climb the mountain.  Let the Holy Spirit be your guide.  I'm planning to reach the summit next week on March 17.  My hallelujah will no longer be a secret chord.  Have a great day.
