500 Days of Summer

As summer comes to a close and children return to school, some of us probably feel like it went too fast.  Wouldn't it be so nice to enjoy 500 days of Summer, like the title in the movie starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel?  By the way, if you haven't seen this movie, it is on DVD.

Each season has a role.  Autumn approaches now and some of us will witness brilliant colors as the trees begin their transformation on cue from Mother Nature.  I will never forget the train ride between Montreal and Quebec City in October many years ago.  The landscape was rich with colors that are unused in the the great southwest.

Yes, summer is almost over now and it is time to move on.  No matter what season we are celebrating, there is always something to appreciate.  Life would be so boring if everything looked the same every day.  Go out into nature and enjoy the change that is in the air.  Welcome autumn, she will bring you something new...
