War. Conflict. Pride. Prejudice. Guilt. Shame. Hatred. Where does all of this come from? Sadly, this is all a result of the fall. Believe it or not, disobedience doomed all of us. None are exempt. The first fall happened long before man was created. That fall has eternal consequences for all of us. The dark side desperately wants to take you an me down with them. This dark side is sinister. When these dark angels conspire we are vulnerable. Look around. Do you sense trouble? Visible or invisible, it persists. There is no reprieve.
The dark side doesn't want you know there is hope. The dark side wants you to believe that no matter what you do you are going to end up in a dark place. There is hope. You were created in love and you are loved even though it may not appear that way now. Proceed with caution. Recognize that everyone you know and love is also under the influence of the dark side. Death is at the top of the list. You cannot escape this. That's okay. If you can see death as a doorway to something bigger and better, perhaps you can overcome any fear you have about dying.
