If you're feeling down right now, this story may not be for you. I'm not here to pile on top of your failures. This message is for those who avoid failure. If this is you, please read on. Failure is a necessary ingredient in the learning process. The more I fail, the more I learn. Why, then, do so many stay out of the arena where failure is going to be on the daily highlight reels? Is it fear of what others may think when the mistakes are there for everyone to see? Please get over this. The audience on the sidelines doesn't matter. Just because they chose to sit out doesn't mean you are required to join them.
Fail big. Fail often. Entertain the peanut gallery with your gaffes. The big picture is for you to be the absolute best version of yourself that you can be. Laugh at your mistakes. Some day they will turn into triumphs. My number one foe is really on me these days. He's inside my head reminding me of my flaws. Perhaps this Evil One doesn't understand just how big our Creator is. He celebrated every time Jesus fell while hauling that Cross up to Calvary. Three times Jesus fell. Three times he got up. Then he died. What a party the Dark side on that day. Looked like one big failure for the Kingdom on that day, didn't it? Well, it was a clever disguise because what looked like utter failure to the Dark Side was actually a strategic play that gave all of us victory over death.
Learn the fine art of failing. Make failure part of your life. Your failure today will open doors to something the spectators on the sidelines will never know. Ready. Set. Fail. Repeat. Have a great day.
