Treasures Christian Store

Yesterday, I stopped in at Treasures Christian Store located at 649 Main Street, suite A, in my hometown of Ramona.   Treasures, owned by Hal and Dolores, is one of those quaint little places you can visit to pick up a book from a local author or an inspiring gift for that special person in your life.

"People drive for miles to find unique items in my store yet the locals forget about us and end up paying more for things down the hill," Delores said.

Ramona is known for it's rodeos and it's a great stopping point on the way to Julian.   Thousands of people come to Ramona to hike in the Cleveland National Forest.  It looks like it will be a while before the Devil's Punchbowl will reopen due to the recent fatality.  When it does, hikers will be returning to the back country in droves.  Don't forget to get a souvenir to take with you before departing; Treasures is the perfect place to shop.  It's the only place in town that carries my book, "God's Black Sheep Squadron." My friends, Pete Zindler and Byron Mettler also have their books featured in the local author's section.

When you visit Treasures, make sure you tell them the naked caveman sent you.  Here is a Facebook link...
