Pray Boldly

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." And God granted his request. - 1 Chronicles 4:10

God loves it when His people come to Him in bold prayer.  Praying "big" leads to stunning responses from our Creator.  He wants us to be confident, to be in a deep relationship with Him.  It all starts with prayer.

How many of us would be willing to ask God to "expand our territory"?  This is gutsy...we are asking God to expand our sphere of influence, that is to gain the ability to make a difference in the world.  It requires being fearless.  The more contact we have with people, the greater the risk of harm or rejection.  Jezbel anticipated this and included a prayer of protection with his request to enlarge his territory.

When you ask God to give you something that will benefit others, He will give it to you.  Be bold.  Have courage.  Dream big.  Don't hold anything back in your prayers.  Expect big things to happen.  God is seeking a deeper relationship with you.  He is waiting for you right now...Go ahead, bring Him your bold prayers.
