Living in the Moment

It's really easy to fall into the complaint trap.  Take a look around at all the sad faces.  Most of the population is wishing for this year to come to a speedy conclusion.  Not me.  I'm savoring all this day has to offer.  Living in the moment has its rewards.  The greatest prize is peace.

Put aside all your worries and take in a few deep breaths.  Block out the calendar.  Close your eyes.  Forget about everything going on in the world around you.  Concentrate on all the blessings.  Do you feel a sense of gratitude overtaking your body?  That's what living in the moment feels like.  It's impossible to be afraid when all your energy is in the here and now.  Enjoy.  Have a great day.
