No one is exempt. You may feel like you're free at times but this is only an illusion. Once sin entered the picture we all became captives. Hard as you may try to find the exit door it does not exist. Death is inevitable. So is the infighting. Don't blame your enemy. Don't blame yourself. If you want a survival tip, try this. Surrender. Let go of everything. Stop fighting. Your enemy is in exactly the same position you are in. The real enemy wants to pit you against your foe so you will get riled up and fight without ceasing. The enemy wants you to be trapped in hopelessness. It doesn't have to be this way.
You may consider surrender as an option but in the back of your mind you're not sure why you should do this. I believe this process of letting go brings inner peace. I dwell on the idea of what the rescue plan will look like and this motivates me to carry on. Caution. This rescue plan doesn't happen until after death. Every single one of us needs to die before we are freed. There is something bigger and better on the other side. Have a great day.
