Welcome the Storms

Brothers and sisters: Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. ~ Romans 5:1-5

My tennis team is filled with passionate people who have a burning desire to play regularly and improve.  When shingles are blowing off rooftops, this team is on the courts learning how to deal with the wind.  This gave us a tremendous advantage when the winds gusted during our Vegas tournament.  Our opponents from the East and Midwest were sheltered in temperature controlled indoor stadiums while we battled Mother Nature outdoors.  Their pale skin burned and turned pink while we donned the colors you see in Coppertone commercials.

Are you willing to go outside in stormy weather?  The truth is we can only produce endurance, character, and hope through facing the storms in our lives.  Welcome the storms and you will soar high like an eagle, with wings that never tire.  New life will be given to you.
