The "Our Father" prayer was first taught to us by Jesus Christ. It is a perfect prayer. For me, learning to pray this prayer in other languages adds a certain flavor that resonates within my very soul. "Baba Yetu" is an african flavor, specifically swahili, that makes my cells inside my body want to leap out and dance. I told my wife it reminds me of visiting a church in Maui. The Hawaiians add something special to church songs I grew up with English only. How awesome is that Our Father can hear our every prayer in any language, even when we don't pray with words?
