Today marks the first day of our 40 day journey to Jesus for folks in my denomination. We call this day Ash Wednesday. This is a time of sacrifice and spiritual preparation for what is to come on Good Friday when Jesus dies on the Cross for us so that we can be redeemed. It is also a time of fasting on specific days.
Our time on this planet is relatively short. In the end, our bodies return to dust. There is much to do before that time comes. I urge you to use your time wisely. Have a great day.
