Synergy

I can do everything through him who gives me strength ~ Philippians 4:13

Synergy is when 2 + 2 = 5, when the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.  You can take advantage of synergy in your own life if you understand which combination of ingredients produce a whole that is worth more than the individual parts.

For example, eating certain foods by themselves won't do much for you, however, when you mix together the six grains listed in Ezekiel 4:9, you get a complete protein that closely resembles the protein found in milk and eggs (hint: my wife recommends toasting and adding a little bit of honey to avoid that cardboard taste she detected at her first sampling).  This is food synergy.

Take a good hard look at the individual parts of you.  These individual parts make up the core of who you are.  You are unique.  The question for today is..."are you the best you than you can be?"  Work on your physical fitness.  Challenge your brain with exercises designed to improve it's performance.  Eat healthy foods.  Surround yourself with positive people.  Exercise daily.  Pray regularly.  When each part of you is in optimum shape, the total you will shine brightly in this world.  You can be a great example of the definition of synergy, just make sure there are no missing or under-developed ingredients in you.
