At midnight tonight, our clocks will "spring forward" one hour. This means we are going to see the sun set one hour later. Each day we gain a little bit more sun as we get closer to summer. Although the number of hours in a day remain constant, I feel like I get a little more mileage out of my day when the sun is out later.
The hard part about the time change is adjusting to the "spring forward" in the morning. My body seems to get into a rhythm and it fights me when the alarm clock goes off one hour earlier. It is a small price to pay in order to enjoy a BBQ after work while the sun is still out.
This is a good time of year to do some spring cleaning and review our progress on the goals we set for this year and this decade. The first quarter of this year is almost over and there is plenty of time to make adjustments if we are not satisfied with the direction we are going. Maybe all we need is a small adjustment in our daily routine to get back on track. Spring is in the air at last.
