The Power of Prayer

Today's post goes out to those who are having a hard time during this Christmas season. Yesterday I learned about a family that lost their dad to brain cancer. The husband was one of those people that had a super optimistic attitude and he fought the tumors for three years. The last thing on his wish list was to see a new Disney movie with his family. He fought the brain tumors valiantly and his family prayed that everything would work out. He did his best to bring joy to his wife and children throughout his prolonged battle.

The wife had a plan for each day this week including the funeral yesterday. Her plan for Deeember 25th is to make sure and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. This family is going to be feeling the loss of this very special person when they celebrate Christmas and there are many more families just like them.

Take a moment today and offer up a prayer for those who could really use one. Make a few phone calls and tell the people you love how much you care. The power of prayer can make a big difference in the lives of others.
