When Miracles and Politics Mix

Today is a significant day. It began before dawn, and as the day progresses, our community will converge at City Hall for a pivotal moment: the first official step toward establishing outdoor pickleball courts. Before this gathering, I'll be reaching out to friends, relatives, coworkers, and business leaders, urging them to join me in raising funds for sick children at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.

Do you believe in miracles? I certainly do. I'm envisioning ambitious outcomes. Some members of our community might believe that only an extraordinary intervention could sway authorities to build pickleball courts at the recreation center. Others may feel despair about finding cures for sick children. Perhaps they're unaware of the power of collective faith, the belief that with Christ's strength, anything is possible.

Today offers a remarkable opportunity to witness the unity of people from diverse backgrounds, all coming together for the greater good. Believers and non-believers, Republicans and Democrats, working and retired individuals, the healthy and the sick, the inspired and the disillusioned—everyone is rallying around a shared cause. It's a day where miracles intersect with politics, a day I'll cherish forever. Stay tuned. Yes, today truly marks a momentous occasion.  Have a great day.
