He's Coming

Besides the gifts, the music and all the parties, there are two things to consider this Christmas season.  Believers know Christmas is about celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus.  Yet, even the believers sometimes overlook the second part of the Christmas season that has to do with the time when Jesus returns.  This is the best time of year to think about our Savior coming back again for all of us.  

The next time you read your Bible, pretend you're on a treasure hunt.  Dig deep and search for stories about Jesus coming into the world.  When you find the baby Jesus, keep digging for the deeper meaning.  It's all there – the beginning and the end, all in the same stories.  When the adult Jesus returns again, this will complete what started with his birth 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem.  The first time he appeared to a select few.  Next time the whole world will see him.  Are you ready?  Have a great day.
