With the exception of our youngest son's pet Chihuahua we're taking care of while he attends school out of state, our nest is empty. It's about to be full again. This Christmas all of our adult children are returning home. One of our greatest joys as parents is seeing them spread their wings and soar like eagles. I remember the looks on their faces while they waited patiently at the top of the stairs for mom and dad to see if Santa visited. Now mom and dad are at the ones waiting for them to return home.
My prayer for you today is that you have peace. I know what it's like when someone is missing from the nest or they have a broken wing. Family time is good for the soul. Have a great day.
