My Men's 40+ Team is at it again, this time in Tulsa, Oklahoma, battling the best teams in the Midwest for the rights to advance to nationals, a longtime dream of my teammates who have been working hard for more than a decade. Team captain, Jim, sent word that all the teams in our pool our tied heading into day 2. One team will advance to the semifinals, one team will go home and two teams will play a quarterfinal match immediately after pool play ends.
I'm cheering from afar today. I'm not eligible for post season play in this age group as I did not play the league minimum due to my travel schedule. Good luck, team. Bring home the trophy. Have a great day.
