Today's story is inspired by an article I read yesterday about the happiest small towns in America. My hometown showed up #25 on the list and I wasn't surprised. There are a lot of happy people here. The results were based on two variables – home ownership and marital status. The more I thought about the study the more intrigued I was about the variables. Are they the best measure of your happiness? Do they really matter?
My definition of happiness isn't based on possessions or people. It's more a state of mind. It's a choice to be happy no matter my circumstances, job status or dwelling. How about you? What's your definition of happiness? Have a happy day.
