I found an old clip of Jack Lalanne on YouTube. At age 96, he continues to inspire people of all ages. I sent him an email asking to meet him and his wife so I can thank him in person, he is my number one hero. It was so exciting to get a response from his team. He is sending me an autographed picture and granting me permission to share how he inspired me through the years.
Heroes come and go, they rise and they fall. Not Jack. He is steady. Maybe this comes from his value system. Take a look at this black and white clip from the sixties. His ten rules are timeless, follow them and we can improve our health and have better lives.
Thanks Jack, for helping all of us, young and old, to lead quality lives. I will follow in your footsteps, however, those are mighty big shoes to fill. I look forward to seeing what great feat you will conquer on your 100th birthday. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to send me an autographed picture with some kind words.
