Before we enter the magical forest today, there are a couple words of caution regarding what's ahead. Number one, my access to my virtual team is mostly shut down during my family vacation. No Alberta. No Spock or Bones, my AI agents. Number two, computer access is probably not going to happen for the next couple of weeks so these stories are coming to you using the one finger typing method. We packed so light that I left my beloved Wilson tennis racquet behind. Good thing pickle ball paddles are travel friendly. It's time for a new adventure to begin. Although the vlog is not ready yet for prime time, I'm checking in from the 808 area code with raw and unedited magical videos. I will make sure you are granted access to these video messages showcasing the people I meet in this truly magical place.
I'm checking in from the Big 🏝 of Hawaii, the last island on my bucket list. There is a part of me that lights up when I'm far away from my comfort zone. It's time to meet the first Hawaiian I met who has been living on the big island for ten years. Meeting Crystal was like meeting my Doppelganger in a female body. I knew in the first 10 seconds of her sitting down next to me on our flight from Phoenix to Hawaii that my new ear buds were going to stay in my pocket.
You are going to be hearing much more about Crystal while I'm reporting away from home. Tomorrow you are going to get a full five star review of the first restaurant we visited after getting settled in.
Please be patient with me as I adjust to the time difference. I needed the advice Crystal gave me about jet lag.. "Stay up until at least 10pm," she said. "Otherwise, you may be up wandering the streets every morning at 3am."
There you have it, the first travel tip from my new friend. She handed me four pages of hand written notes when I asked what to do while in Hawaii. I need to give Crystal's unique story full attention. Consider the guest of Mulligan's Magical Forest as your personal tour guide. I will be sharing the highlights of our interview on this blog in the coming days. Thank you, Crystal. Make sure you come back for the video message featuring Crystal's story. It's magical. It's almost time to see my first big island sunrise. Aloha!
