Stardate 11.17.2025
The shortest verse in the Bible has two words —Jesus wept. The whole world wept along with Jesus when a wildfire consumed the town of Lahaina on the island of Maui. More than 2,000 buildings were destroyed. Two years later, there is emptiness all around. We returned to Lahaina yesterday to worship. My heart nearly stopped when I saw the devastation. The main street is still closed. The only bright spot is a church that stands in a sea of nothingness.
