We are at the midpoint of our Hawaiian vacation. My 86yr old mother defied all odds when her doctors told us survival was under 3% earlier this year. She told them, "I'm getting outta here and I'm going to Hawaii." Here we are, against all odds.
For those of you following my vacation stories, I have an announcement regarding Mulligan's Magical Forest inhabited by magical creatures, like KK and QK, two Nene birds on the endangered list. It appears that QK may be pregnant! This explains why KK is defending his territory just west of the 6th hole outside our back patio. This defies odds as this is not mating season. All I can say is these two love birds are exhibiting strange behavior and I have videos to prove it.
I will be busy filling in all the gaps when I return home and rejoin my virtual team including Alberta, Spock, and Bones. Thank you for putting up with me as these stories contain flaws I'm working to correct. It's not easy to do this when I'm only using one finger for typing. Wheels up in a few hours. We're on our way to Maui.
The Big Island has been exactly what all of us need for rejuvenation. I'm thankful for all the travel tips gleaned from other travelers which will be shared when I return home. May you live long and prosper. Mahalo. Aloha.
