There’s a sacred thread God is weaving through my story—through all of our stories. It’s only now, looking back on some of the chapters I once questioned, that I’m beginning to see the pattern He’s been stitching all along.
Lately, I’ve been meeting new people in places I didn’t expect. And each time, I catch myself thinking: This wasn’t random. There’s something deeply intentional about the way these stories are colliding. I’m understanding more each day that God doesn’t just give us dreams—He weaves them together in ways we could never imagine. He is both the Dream Giver and the Dream Weaver.
✨ Looking Back to See Ahead
There were moments in my past that didn’t make sense. Seasons where I felt delayed, lost, or simply out of place. But God’s timing isn’t rushed—and it’s never late. What felt like a detour was actually part of the design.
Romans 8:28 reminds me:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
All things. Even the broken pieces. Even the times I thought I’d missed the mark. He was working—even then.
🧵 Every Thread Has a Place
I think of life like a tapestry. From our side, we often only see the knots and loose ends. But from heaven’s perspective? A masterpiece is forming. I’m learning to stop asking, Why did this happen? and instead ask, What is God weaving here?
Ecclesiastes 3:1 grounds me:
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
Nothing is wasted. No encounter, no tear, no triumph, no trial. He uses them all.
🤝 People Aren’t Accidents
One of the greatest revelations God has given me is that no one I meet is by accident. Each conversation, each connection, each moment of encouragement or discomfort—it’s all part of the shaping.
Some people come into our lives as gentle reminders. Others arrive like holy interruptions. But each one carries purpose. Some plant seeds. Some water. And some show up just to remind us that we’re not walking alone.
I’m thinking of Gabriel, the motorcycle rider I met on a roadside in Montana. I didn’t plan for that stop, but I was meant to be there. He reminded me—whether he knew it or not—that angels still meet us in the wilderness.
🏺 God, the Potter
Sometimes I feel like a misshaped pot—wobbly on the wheel, not quite what I imagined I’d be. But Scripture tells me that’s exactly where God does His best work.
Jeremiah 18:4 says:
“But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”
Even when I feel like I’ve gotten it wrong—He never lets go. He keeps shaping, keeps molding, keeps making something new.
💬 Your Story Matters Too
Friend, maybe you’re in a season that doesn’t make sense. Maybe you're waiting. Maybe you’re aching. Maybe you’re wondering what God is up to.
Can I gently remind you: He’s still weaving.
He’s still spinning the wheel.
And He’s still connecting the dots in your life that will one day leave you in awe.
So trust the Dream Weaver. Trust the Potter. Trust that the people you’re meeting, the moments you’re experiencing, and even the pain you’re carrying—it’s all being redeemed by a God who knows exactly what He’s doing.
🙏 Prayer for Today:
Father, thank You for every thread You’ve woven into my life. Thank You for the people, the detours, the lessons, and the love. Help me to trust You as the Dream Weaver and to see purpose in every part of my journey. Open my eyes to the divine appointments You’re still arranging. Amen.
