You can call them whatever you want... Resolutions. Goals. Habits. What matters is they stick with you for the rest of your life. Most people will do this once a year at the start of the New Year only to fail before January ends. They forget the why. What I mean by the why is the reason they came up with a resolution. If this happened on a whim, good luck. Failure is on the horizon and it's closer than you think. That's why I focus on winning routines. Call them baby steps. 365 baby steps are better than seven days of intensity that dies before the Super Bowl.
There is no pressure setting up your baby steps now while no one else is thinking about this. Let's say you decide you want to release some weight. A good way to set up a routine is to start small. The next time you go grocery shopping try cutting out some of those foods loaded with sugar and replace them with something healthy. Introduce small changes like giving up snacks. Build on your achievements. You will have more than a two week head start if you do this now. Keep adding to your winning routine, day by day. Good luck. Have a great day.
