"I don't like it when authors narrate their own books," Katie said at our Holiday party last night. She confirmed what I felt in my own heart regarding my first audiobook coming soon to Amazon. I met a real life professional narrator who I believe is one of the best in the business. The audition was spontaneous. James told me he was a professional narrator when I asked him what he does for a living. He owns his own business doing this full time. I pulled out a copy of "Live Long and Prosper" and asked him to read the back cover in front of his family and several coworkers at my day job. I felt this amazing tingling inside my body while listening. James assured me the process would be simple and he would do all the heavy lifting. I promised James he would be my voice and he gave me his email address so we could get busy.
I listened to James narrate my book in one sitting yesterday after coming home from my cardio workout on the tennis courts. Katie assured me she would order a copy to listen to as this is her favorite way to consume books and she looks forward to hearing the voice of James. He is a natural. Stay tuned. Once the final edits are complete, you will be able to add "Live Long and Prosper" to your audio collection. Have a great day.
