Please pardon my rants about today's story regarding the blame game. I've been around too many people at the water cooler who blame everyone but themselves for their current situation. I've been there. Perhaps the blame game makes us feel better about our own shortcomings.
The older I get the more I realize how my own failures play a role in my personal growth. I'm convinced that if given the choice to go back in time and live my life again free of my biggest blunders I would vote to repeat the errors. This is stunning for me because my failures have been costly. I'm willing to repeat these errors again in order to gain the wisdom I now possess. These failures have been an investment in learning the best way to live my life. At the top of the list is the near-fatal accident I suffered in early 2018. The accident gave me an opportunity to review my life and realize what's really important to me.
I will never point a finger at anyone when it comes to my failures with the exception of the man in the mirror. How about you? Have a great day.
