How to Become the Person Bruce Lee Fears
Star Date: 08.01.2025
There are no shortcuts to success.
Sure, many on social media sell quick fixes—shiny gimmicks promising instant results. But real growth doesn’t come in flashy packaging. And deep down, we all know it. Those who rise to the top—the ones who truly become great—follow a much harder, but far more rewarding path: practice.
The kind of practice I’m talking about is the kind that would make even Bruce Lee take notice. His famous words say it best:
“I fear not the man who has practiced 1,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
I’m the first to admit—I still have a lot to learn. My toolbox isn’t perfect. But I’m not afraid to share what does work: consistent, focused, relentless repetition. Practice. Then more practice. And then… even more.
There are a few “kicks” in my life that I’ve now practiced more than 10,000 times. But I’m not finished. I’ll never be finished. Not until I breathe my last breath.
How about you?
Are you willing to commit to practicing your one “kick” 10,000 times?
Today is a great day to begin—or begin again.
Commit to the journey. Stick with it. Mastery is waiting on the other side.
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
— Galatians 6:9
