My Men's 55+ tennis season begins today and this year we're dedicating all our matches to Dr. Fred Dietz, a beloved teammate who passed away recently. He kept his battle with pancreatic cancer private. Fred played tennis until the very end and told others his weight loss was due to a new diet. Every time I put on my pink bandana, I will think of Fred and I will be reminded of my friends who are fighting cancer. This is a season with a purpose. I'm thankful for the opportunity to raise awareness about cancer. Have a great day.
