Stand and Walk Like a Caveman


There are two things you can do right now to improve your health – more standing and more walking.  If you find yourself in a job involving mostly sitting, reorganize your work space.  Invest in a standing desk.  Your back will thank you.  Take a walk every time you get a break and log your steps.  It doesn't take much to make a difference.

Your caveman ancestors walked a minimum of 10,000 steps a day.  That's easy to do when you don't have a car and your food is somewhere out in the wilderness.  It's a bit more challenging when you have a fridge, modern transportation and elevators.  Do your best to at least double your daily steps and see what happens during the next thirty days.  You may find standing and walking like a caveman is a good move.  Give it a try.  Have a great day.
