My First Solo Uber Ride in a Tesla

My First Solo Uber Ride in a Tesla

Star Date 10.01.2025

Meet Saidul, my Uber driver who got me to LaGuardia with plenty of time to spare for my journey home. When I asked about the meaning of his name, he told me simply, “Health.” By this point in my trip, I was no longer surprised by the signs affirming that I was in the right place at the right time.

Curious, I looked up the translation in Arabic. Alongside “health,” several more words appeared: happy, blessed, fortunate. Digging deeper, I discovered another—prosperous—which pairs beautifully with my book, Live Long and Prosper.

Saidul was gracious enough to pose for a quick picture with his Tesla during a pit stop at my hotel to retrieve my bags.

Today is my first day off since returning home from our longevity partner conference in New York City. I find myself at peace, having discovered a new tribe—a group of international friends from all walks of life, united by their passion for living their best lives.

The “Live Long and Prosper” gesture that Saidul is flashing in that photo is more than a symbol. It’s a blessing for you.

Please come back soon as I share more lessons learned about health and wellness. Have a great day.

Captain’s Addendum — Log Entry
Captain’s Log, supplemental:

Providence has a way of revealing itself in the smallest details. A driver named Saidul whose name means health, happiness, blessing, and prosperity. A Tesla ride that marked my first solo Uber trip. A chance encounter that affirmed the larger mission I’ve been sent on. These are not random coincidences—they’re breadcrumbs along the path, reminding me that the journey is guided.

I’ve come home with a peace that surpasses the exhaustion of travel, strengthened by a tribe that spans the globe. And in a simple hand gesture—a Vulcan salute turned blessing—I’m reminded that my calling is not just to speak words, but to embody them. To live long, yes—but even more, to live prosperously in spirit, in service, and in health.

End log.
