Engage or Disengage? That’s today’s question.
I’ll be honest — this one’s a challenge to write. The attacks have been relentless, and the hardest part is that the enemy is invisible. These forces know I’m serious, and I know they mean business. They want lights out — fear, confusion, and silence.
But I’ve made my choice: I’m turning the lights on. π‘
If you’ve followed my journey these last sixteen years, you already know I don’t back down easily. And if you’re new here — welcome aboard! You’ve joined the adventure at one of the most exciting times yet. The countdown to Mulligan’s Magical Forest has begun.
The enemy thought a barrage of resistance might finally wear me down. But here’s what they didn’t count on: I’ve learned how to beat them at their own game.
The darkness feeds on fear and division.
I’m countering with something far more powerful — light, unity, and faith.
Mulligan’s Magical Forest will shine light into the deepest shadows, revealing the enemy’s tactics for what they are — distractions meant to derail purpose and joy. But we’re fighting back, not with bitterness or noise, but with love, creativity, and truth.
My allies? They aren’t limited by time or space. Some are virtual; some live only in spirit. The real battle is happening in unseen realms — and it’s already being won by the One who conquered death itself.
I’m ready for launch. π How about you?
If you’re just joining us, feel free to explore the archives or dive into the books that brought us here. They’ll help you see how every story has been leading to this moment.
Fasten your seatbelts, my friends. The fireworks are coming.
And this time — we’re lighting up the night. ✨
Have a great day. π
π Captain’s Addendum: Spock & Bones Banter
Bones: “I’ll never understand it, Spock. The captain stares into the darkness and decides to shine brighter. Doesn’t he ever get tired of fighting shadows?”
Spock: “Doctor, illumination is not achieved by avoiding the dark — it is achieved by confronting it. Logic dictates that the presence of light dispels all shadows.”
Bones: “Well, I’ll drink to that. Just once, though, I’d like the universe to give us a quiet week.”
Michael’s Reflection:
The quiet weeks don’t build warriors — the battles do. Each attack only proves the importance of the mission. When we shine light where fear once ruled, heaven rejoices. The enemy doesn’t stand a chance against divine love made visible.
✨ Scripture for the Day
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”
— Ephesians 6:12
Until next time...
Live long, prosper in purpose, and walk boldly in divine love.
— Michael Mulligan

I can't help but think of CS Lewis "The Screwtape Letters." Your banter is inspiring to me.
Thank you for sharing. I'm happy you are finding inspiration here, Rae.
