What does a traveler do when the local restaurants are closed and food choices are limited? I found an interesting solution in a small town that people are flocking to for the 50th anniversary of the cranberry festival in Warrens, Wisconsin where I am for a day job assignment.
Cudos to Quick Trip for selling angus beef and being open at 4am when I was hunting and gathering my morning breakfast. The ribeye you see pictured here was barbecued on a small hotel grill using charcoal. My plastic utensils worked great and I enjoyed my breakfast before heading to the cranberry festival. It was an amazing day. This will be one of my most memorable breakfasts ever. Have a great day.
