Inspired by the Age-defying Greats of Tennis
I'm getting this story in under the wire. Roger Federer is the 2017 Wimbledon champion. That's not easy when you're 35 years old. This is the second time this year an age-defying player won it all. Nadal did it last month in the French Open at the age of 31. These guys are my heroes. It's hard to imagine a player can last long enough to win Wimbledon eight times. Federer said after winning today, "as long as you keep believing and dreaming, it's possible." He hopes to come back again next year and defend his title.
Congratulations, Roger. Thanks for inspiring us to reach for the stars. Don't let anyone tell you you're too old to compete. Have a great day.
