Do You Hope to Win?

Athletes do this.  Coaches do this.  Winners do this.  How about you?  Do you hope to win?  Something happens inside your head when you decide that hope is part of who you are.  Will it prevent losing?  Sorry.  That's not going to happen.  What hope does do is keep you in the game no matter how many times the outcome doesn't go your way.  People who have hope never give up.  

There is an opposing force that actually has no hope for a win.  This is the exception to today's story.  I bring it up because you need to be aware that the enemy understands hope can tip the scales in your favor.  The enemy wants you to give up hope so that you cave in.

The world is in a hot mess these days.  Many people are giving up hope for a victory.  I urge you to cling to hope like it's a giant life preserver.  Encourage the people around you to hope.  Follow Jesus, the one who inspires hope.  He is a champion of hope.  Don't give up.  Have a great day.
