If you're serious about bumping up your lifestyle in the new year, try this blueprint. I've been refining it for years and most of the bugs are worked out. Here goes:
- Do everything you can to reduce stress. This is super important. Too much stress can cause your mind and body to either freeze or inflame. No bueno. Your health will suffer. Eliminate toxic people and excessive workloads. Keep things simple. Avoid trying to do too much.
- Reduce exposure to processed foods, artificial ingredients and junk food with no nutritional value.
- Treat your body to 3 hours of exercise per week.
- Pay cash as you go. If you must use a credit card, pay it off as fast as you can.
- Say a prayer of thanks before every meal.
- Eat with your loved ones.
- Make your bed.
- Clean your closets.
- Take vacations.
- Keep in touch with your friends.
- Be kind.
- Avoid criticizing, especially yourself.
- Be happy.
