How do happiness and Memorial Day go together? Before I offer my take on this, I want to thank all who came before us and sacrificed their lives defending our freedom. I would also like to extend my condolences to those who lost loved ones who fought in service to our country. So, yes, today is a sad day for many. One day to remember them is not enough given what they offered to all of us who are remaining.
We are happy today because we have our freedom. We celebrate because everything we have is a result of those brave men and women who came before us. Take a moment today and reflect on your happiness. Offer a prayer for the families who are feeling a loss today. Happy Memorial Day. Have a great day.
