When my family and I relocated to the Midwest over seven years ago, we pledged to visit our surroundings as much as possible including other states nearby. Last night I got an opportunity to witness a Minnesota sunset. That's the picture you see in the post. There's something special that happens when you pause to take in the beauty of nature. It somehow changes your heart, brain, body and soul. Maybe it's all the gratitude I feel for this kind of opportunity.
