My Pastor handed out a book, "Rediscover Jesus," at the beginning of Lent, a six week journey of preparation for the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. He suggested we read a chapter a day. The first couple of weeks were especially challenging due to the nature of my injuries from my auto accident. Something that stands out in the chapters is how radical Jesus is. Here's the question to ponder: "Is Jesus radical enough for you?"
In order for you to consider making changes in your life, you need something to inspire you to want to change. I believe beating death is about as radical as it gets. Jesus shows us by his own example that this is what's in our own future. This changes how we view time. We no longer need to fear there isn't enough time. We have eternity.
If you're experiencing any kinds of doubts or uncertainties, the real problem is that you don't know how much Jesus loves you. Jesus is all you need to make sense of your life. You need a radical who is so different from this world that he will turn it upside down and give you a complete makeover. Are you ready? Give Jesus a try. Have a great day.
