Who are your heroes? Maybe they're famous people you've never met in person who inspire you to try harder or live better. Or perhaps they're regular people who live in your neighborhood. Did one of your teachers light a fire inside you that forever changed the direction of your life? We all need role models to help us reach our full potential.
I'm fortunate to have many mentors in my life. The greatest of these works in mysterious ways. I read stories about people who became transformed after their encounters. How can someone change your life after asking you only one or two questions? That's powerful. They magically know exactly what you need. They lead by example. They look beyond your weaknesses. These heroes bring out your best. They stand by you in your darkest times. I know I'm never alone because of the hero in my life. His name is Jesus. You can read all the stories about Jesus or you can close your eyes and invite Him into your heart. The experience will bring you peace and you will find your way no matter how lost you may be.
