“But the fruit of the Spirit is, charity, joy, peace, patience, benignity, goodness, longanimity, mildness, faith, modesty, continency, chastity.” ~ Galatians 5:22-23
Jesus promised His followers He would not leave them alone. They remained locked up in a room, afraid to come out until they received the gift of the Holy Spirit. This Spirit is available for you, all you have to do is ask for it. Once you have this Holy Spirit in your life, everything changes. Your problems don't go away, however, your ability to deal with even the most difficult of circumstances will surprise those around you.
These new gifts you have at your fingertips are fruits. You are unique and so are your own customized fruits. We should never judge others because we don't really know when their fruits will blossom. Even in our own lives, these fruits don't become ripe until God's perfect time.
Don't forget to share your fruits with others. You received them for that purpose, to make the world around you better. Working together in community, each of us contributes our own special fruit. There are no longer any deficiencies as long as we stay connected to one another.
